Mayor WIN Gatchalian ordered the speedy arrest of suspect on three unrelated murder crimes in Valenzuela City and offered a cash reward of Php 250,000  to anyone who can give information on the identities and whereabouts of the suspects.

Valenzuela City Police Station Chief, P/SSUPT Atty. Wilben Mayor said that a warrant was issued for the arrest of Bernardo Pascual Jr., alias Ompong, primary suspect to the murder of Ernesto del Rosario Lunaria and Edgardo Pacheco Lunaria last December 10, 2010 in front of a sari-sari store in Hulo, Barangay Bignay.

The Valenzuela City Police is also under intensive investigation on the murder cases of Richard Castaneda Ilagan and Diego Estrael Gayas Jr.

Ilagan was shot dead last March 8, 2012, 6:30 am at F. Dulalia St., Barangay Lingunan by unidentified group of two (2) women and four (4) men.

Gayas, on the other hand, was slain last March 16, 2012 at Lot 2 Block 2, Aces Code project 1, Barangay Ugong at about 9:30 am by three unidentified culprits.

“We will not stop until these lawless elements that disrupt peace and order in the city are put behind bars, and justice for the victims are served,” Mayor WIN assured the victims’ families during their visit at the VCPS Headquarters recently.

The City Mayor and the Chief of Police are also calling on the vigilance of all Valenzuelanos in protecting their own communities against crimes and disorder by reporting any information they know about the suspects.
