ValTrace, Antipolo Bantay COVID-19, MandaTrack, PasigPass, and now, Taytay Trail, is now interconnected starting this Monday, June 28.

The Municipality of Taytay, Rizal joins the consortia today, June 25, enabling the five (5) towns to have one QR code when entering different establishments within each locality.

Valenzuela City's ValTrace was first integrated with Pasig City's PasigPass last December 07, 2020 and with Antipolo City’s Bantay COVID-19 effective last January 10 this year. Mandaluyong City’s MandaTrack joined the network this March 01.

There will be no need to download different QR codes from the system used by the local government unit as it has a shared database in compliance with data privacy. The agreement also prompts for possible COVID-19 exposure and location logs of an individual which is being utilized by the LGU’s epidemiology and surveillance unit.

The local chief executives are more hopeful that more local government units will join the digital contact tracing solution through the use of QR codes.

Ika nga po, when there is unity, there is always victory.

Valenzuela City Mayor REX Gatchalian initiated the Contact Tracing Network Consortium Agreement as ValTrace has been proven to be convenient and effective as a contact tracing system within the local level. Now with three (3) other cities and a municipality in the agreement, Mayor REX expresses his excitement as more LGUs join the solution to end the pandemic.

Kami dito sa Valenzuela City, we look forward to our friends from Taytay visiting us kahit medyo malayo ang ating mga lugar.
