To honor its 23rd Charter Day this February 14, the City Government of Valenzuela conducts its simple yet meaningful post-Charter Day celebration by inaugurating a new Livelihood and Senior Citizen’s Office in Disiplina Village Bignay (DVB) today, February 15.

Housed in a new two-storey multipurpose building, the Livelihood and Senior Citizen’s Office is envisioned to create and produce more programs and services that will raise the standard of living and income of families living in DVB.

The new facility will also support the conduct of existing livelihood programs of the in-city resettlement site enticing senior citizens to actively participate in the projects and programs aimed to sustain their wellness and livelihood while living out a spirit of community.

Vice Mayor Lorie Natividad-Borja congratulates the barangay and Disiplina Village officials for having the new multipurpose building. She also emphasizes the importance of vaccination for senior citizens and encourages them to register to VCVax, the City’s COVID-19 Vaccines Rollout Plan.

The inauguration is also attended by District 1 Councilor Rovin Feliciano, Liga ng mga Barangay President Jonjon Bartolome, SK Federation President Goyong Serano, and officials from Displina Village Homeowner’s Association, Senior Citizen Alliance, and Disiplina Village Sewers Club.

The City Government of Valenzuela will continue on its mandate to provide sustainable livelihood to uplift the lives of every Valenzuelano with its investment in new infrastructure and facilities.

Patuloy tayong mag-iinvest hanggang sa maging ganap na kumpleto na ang mga gamit sa ating mga Disiplina Village,” Mayor REX added.
