INVITATION TO BID

The City Government of Valenzuela, through its Bids and Awards Committee (BAC), invites interested suppliers/manufacturers/distributors, to apply for eligibility and to bid for the hereunder listed project, to wit:

 

Project Reference No.           : 011-MOTORCYCLE-VEHICLE-PDAF-GOODS-2013

Project Name                           : Purchase of brand new motorcycle with sidecar

Project Description                  : Supply & delivery of 27 units brand new motorcycle with sidecar

Approved Budget for the Contract: PhP2,700,000.00

Source of Fund                        : Ref. No. 13-012-Goods/PDAF of Cong. Wes Gatchalian

Delivery Period                        : 30 days from receipt of Notice to Proceed

Prospective bidders should have experience in undertaking similar single project within the last two (2) years with an amount of at least 50% of the proposed project for bidding. The eligibility check/screening as well as the Preliminary Examination of Bids shall use a non-discretionary “pass/fail” criteria. Post Qualification of the lowest calculated responsive bid shall be conducted.           

All particulars relative to Eligibility Statement and Screening, Bid Security, Performance Security, Pre-bidding Conference/s, Evaluation of Bids, Post Qualification and Award of Contract shall be governed by the pertinent provisions of R.A. 9184 and its IRR.

Bid documents will be available at the 2/F Exec. Bldg., Mac Arthur Hi-way, Karuhatan,  Valenzuela City, to bidders upon payment of a non-refundable fee in the amount of PhP5,000.00 to the City Treasurer of the City Government of Valenzuela and may be downloaded in the Phil-GEPS website.Only those who have purchased the bidding documents shall be allowed to participate in the pre-bid conference and raised or submit written queries or clarifications.

Bidder/supplier must be able to log-in in the Philippine Electronic Procurement System(Philgeps) wherein the name of the company  will be reflected in the Document Request List of the Bid Notice Abstract of the Procuring Entity.

The City Government of Valenzuela reserves the right to accept any bid, and to annul the bidding process and reject all bids at any time prior to the contract award, without thereby incurring any liability to the affected bidder/s and assume no responsibility whatsoever to compensate or indemnify for any expenses incurred in the preparation of their bids.

The Committee reserves the rights to cancel or postpone the date of bidding upon prior notice to prospective bidders.
