The local government of Valenzuela rewards Php 500,000 to informant who tipped the whereabouts of the city’s most wanted criminal, Danilo Lusung, which resulted in his speedy arrest last Saturday, November 17, 2012 at about 12:35 PM in Phase 1, Bagong Silang, Caloocan City.

Lusung, also known as @ “Leg-leg”, @ “Kiko” with known address at No. 1314 Mayhaligue St., Tondo, Manila was responsible for the killing of Ronald Marinas and wounding of his companion Albert Marquez last April 22 along MacArthur Highway, Marulas, Valenzuela City and the death of Meycauayan Barangay Chairman Lauro Bartolo last June 17 at the parking lot of Cockpit Arena at Malanday, Valenzuela City.

It can be recalled that City Mayor Sherwin T. Gatchalian offered the said reward a month ago to anyone who can give information on whereabouts of the suspect. 

“We will not stop until these lawless elements that disrupt peace and order in the city are put behind bars and justice for the victims are served,” Mayor WIN said during the turnover of the suspect to Valenzuela City from Bicutan today, November 22, 2012, by NPD Director P/CSUPT Antonio Decano.

The Regional Trial Court Branch 75 and 260 this city, both issued warrants of arrest against Lusung with NO BAIL Recommended for the crime of Murder and Frustrated Murder docketed under criminal case numbers 671-672-v-12, 1000-1001-v-12 filed by victims’ family of Marinas and Bartolo, respectively.

The accused also has various pending warrants in Metropolitan Trial Court of Manila Branch 16 docketed under criminal case no. 397063-CR and Regional Trial Court of Manila Branch 27 docketed under criminal case no. 00-180609, for the crime of theft and rape, respectively.
